Anthrax stick with the same kind of metal as they been
doing the last eleven years since singer Joey Belladonna was replaced
with John Bush.
Even though WCFYA doesn´t match up to Sound Of White Noise (1993),
it´s definitely their best album since then, occasionaly you can
find traces of their thrashy past in the music even if they are few.
With a few exceptions most of the songs are really great,
not least the powerful Refuse To Be Denied, the groovy Cadillac Rock
Box also Any Place But Here and the titletrack WCFYA holds the banner
high, as well as Safe Home that has been released as a single.
Those of you that were hoping for a new Spreding The Disease
or Persistence Of Time will be disappointed once again and even if they´re
far from the thrash metal they once used to play, I will still hold
them as a damn good thrashband.
