Disturbed's long awaited b-side and covers collection
is finally here. Turmoil within the band has made the band's future
uncertain and at this moment probably no one but themselves knows when
or if a new studio album will see the light of day.
Meanwhile this is what we get, but these songs are no
ordinary b-sides, since most of them would have made it on any of their
albums and are not just made for fun or as stupid or worthless bonus
tracks for the Japanese market. These songs were made with the purpose
to be recorded for an album, but were probably cut from the list late
in the process.
Considering they have four US number 1's I must say that
I'm actually not surprised with the quality of the songs either. Of
course a b-side collection don't revolutionize the music industry and
most songs wouldn't be on a greatest hits album, but there is no question
that this album is one hundred percent Disturbed and not just something
for the die hards. Not one single song is a filler and if you're a fan
of this band, just go out and buy the damn album.
