![]() After a few lineup changes and more or less 7 years of absence, the time has come for the Danes 4th album to hit the streets. In all honesty, I can't recall paying much attention to this unit earlier and therefore I'm properly satisfied that I decided to check out this release, because this is arguably an awesome record. Disciples Of The Sun contains a great amount of captivating tracks, in which we see a balanced combination of catchy and somewhat faster moments. The songs are rather progressive without being too complex or intricate and therefore this effort supposedly may address to a wider audience at the end of the day. The music is kind of attacking and intense with some incredibly energetic riffs, but it's also very much still melodic. A large number of the songs are certainly quite smashing all the way from beginning to end and besides the ballad, Perfectly Imperfect which actually is a good song as well, I really don't find many detectable occasions for breathers and I kind of feel absorbed by the record's engulfing effect. The production of Jacob Hansen positively contributes to the record's vital end result, because personally I feel that it is able to bring forward the songs' validity and variety to complete this determined piece of music. I fancy the way the band is able to come out with tremendous melodies in a somewhat detailed surrounding and how they are capable of constantly elaborate attractive structures and frequently engender pleasant and inspired songs to eventually put forth a great product.
