5 Biggest disappointments

- Iron Maiden - Dance of Death
Good, but way under average and their immense capacity. I expected greatness since Brave New World really kicked ass but as it turned out, disappointment still prevails.

- Stratovarius internal troubles
The whole deal escalades in absurdum and threats from ignorant fools results in that Timo Tolkki has to hire bodyguards to feel safe. What's the world coming to?

- Stratovarius - Elements Pt. II
Under above mentioned circumstances not easy to perform your best but I still wished for so much more!

- Lost Horizon
Mastermind and main songwriter Wojtek Lisicki leaves the band due to personal reasons. Only the future will tell if the remaining act still can deliver and triumph without him. Sorry, but I have doubts!

- Ozzy Osborne
The Osbornes documentary soap. Not really a 2003 issue but still. One of the greatest legends from the very dawn of metal and now presented to the younger generations as a burned out and tragic character. At least in my heart he still has his former greatness and that's how it always shall be!

3 Happiest/biggest news

- Dark Moor/Dreamaker
At first of course huge disappointment but as it turned out there's now two great bands instead of one. Dark Moor continued in grand form and Dreamaker probably won't disappoint either. I sincerely hope for a true prediction in this case.

- Rob Halford
The legendary vocalist finally announces that he reunites with Judas Priest after months and months of speculative rumours. Further comments completely unnecessary!!!

- The new assets in the Metal Covenant Staff
Once again- welcome on board Tim and Thomas. Don't for a second doubt that your efforts aren't highly appreciated! Cheers guys =)
