Mat: Can you first in short tell the readers something of how and when The Storyteller was formed?
Mat: Has melodic Power Metal been the style since the very beginning or did it start with some other kind of music? If that should be the case, why the (very welcome) change?
Mat: According to your latest release Crossroad
there are three members in the band and on your web page there are five.
Which alternative is the correct one and why the somewhat confusing information?
Mat: There have also been quite some other members in the band over the years. Can you in short tell us why there's been such a turnover?
Mat: Making a living' as a musician seems to work well if you make some crappy hit-list music but since this is definitely NOT your problem: how does this work for you? Do you have other jobs on the side or something?
Mat: And then to some album questions: My personal opinion is that Crossroad is a better release than your debut in many aspects, but what do you think? What are you especially proud of with Crossroad? Is there anything afterwards you feel you could have done differently that we can expect on up-coming releases?
Mat: So far you've recorded your two albums at Studio Fredman. I know that for instance Hammerfall and In Flames have chosen other studios so is this something you might consider doing in the future too or is it too early to say?
Mat: How does the touring plans look for the moment? Are there any abroad live-gigs planned and can we expect your appearance on any of the summer-festivals?
Mat: And finally - any words of wisdom
or funny facts about the nearest future
That was all I had for now, L-G - the staff at metalcovenant.com wish you all the very best for the future, and we sincerely want to thank you for keeping the spirit of Metal alive!
