What a fucking masterpiece! Raise Hell from Sweden give us three quarters absolutely stuffed with brilliant, pumping yet smooth and floating riffs in a great mixture that stick to your brain from the first minute, and you feel disapponted when the album ends and the urge to replay it is immediatly there. It was a long time since a metalalbum did that to me, I have to say.

All tracks on the cd are killers and it's an orgie in marvellous riffs accompanied by great vocals in Arch Enemy/Kreator/Children Of Bodom style and actually really melodic most of the times instead of only aggressive like most thrash bands like to profilize themselves as, and the refrains and vocallines are splendid. Seeing this band live must be a blast since the moshing and banging of the audience must be at maximun level from second one to the very end. It's impossible to even sit still when hearing this.

I think I have read somewhere before about this band, and they than said that their intension was to play a Kreator influenced kind of metal with all those good, old ingredients from the golden thrash years, but this most of the time above and beyond anything that for example Kreator ever has done if you ask me. Powerful, driven thrash with killermelodies and hints of the best elements of death metal baked into it can't go wrong when it is done as good as this.

I dare recommeding this for anyone that adore riffbased, driven metal with monsterriffs and can take vocals that are leaning a bit to the deathmetal area. I hope that the young guys (all between 22 and 23) in the band are wise enough to treasure this opportunity and develop this in the right directions on the next albums, cause this might go far. At least it deserves that. This is the bands' third release, and as soon as I have written the last word of this review I will be on my way searching for the two previous ones. So I am gonna keep this short and conclude it all with: Buy!
