Hailing from Serbia, Marko Pavic has made himself a name
as a guitarist in Italy. The sound of this solo project is rather soft,
as a mix between progressive metal and AOR. A very hard genre to make
an impression of originality in these days. Pavic does not reach the
stars on my heaven this time.
The weakest spot is singer Chris Catena, who's voice is
too weak and unsteady to flow with the music and not enough characteristic
to give it dynamic. A temporary highlight appears in the 'single' track
Just Go On, with Kee Marcello as guest with a sensible guitar solo.
Unconditioned Love is another simple but good composition, Ride 'n Run
almost approaches something that can be labelled as rock and acoustic
Your Love Is Shining at least breaks with the rest of the flow.
Otherwise the songs leaves me with few lasting impressions.
It is all a bit too smooth and edgeless for my engines to get going
on full steam. There is a rougher riff here and there but it does not
suffice to cover up for the ordinary song structures and lame choruses.
It all leaves you with a feeling of: 'ok, now bring me something interesting!'
