In June, I reviewed the Metal Hammer edition of this album.
I can't say that my view has changed with this proper release on CD,
when listening to it four months later. Take at look further down this
page and you will see what my impression was back then.
We get one additional track in The Kingdom Of Steel. A
typical Manowar seven minute ballad hymn and a somewhat pompous and
peaceful song. Not great, not bad. Just a song among others and definitely
nothing worth buying this release for, if you already own the first
version, that is.
It's a decent record, but I demand more from the American
veteran heavy metallers. If I now was forced to change my rating from
5, it wound rather be a 6 than a 4 though. That's all I have to say.
