Yet another project among all different projects and like
many times before on Frontiers Records, this is a lineup that's originally
initiated by the company's diligent president Serafino Perugino. If
you take a quick look at the band's lineup, it isn't exactly something
that's based on a bunch of newcomers to the scene and lots of fans to
heavier music already know these names in and out.
Sweet & Lynch is definitely an interesting and congealing
combination all together. I feel that this unit is able to really come
out strong with elegant, fresh and viable music, which contains loads
of beautiful guitar plays, hooks and a really efficient vocal performance
by Sweet. The album is basically not a well varied product, spanning
over different types of music and most of it stays pretty safe within
the framework of hard rock.
The guys seem to really thrive on the challenge of making
a great and attainable album with only a limited amount of time at hand.
The music is something that's absolutely sprung out of sheer talent
and confidence and these rockers are definitely in no need of readjusting
their most basic features, in order to bring forward a valid outcome.
In total, I think that this one is a rather impressive album, without
obvious fillers and without any bigger shortages.
