Boston's Watchmaker know how to use their terror instruments well. Once again they do it with the release of Kill.Fucking.Everyone. The album contains nineteen tracks of razor sharp grind and heavy crossover elements of death metal vs grind. No forgiveness and certainly no compromises seem to be the guidance for these angry men.

Watchmaker has their very own style, no question about that. But if you take this grind puzzle and start to separate the pieces in order to understand this maze of riffings and chords you'll probably soon come to the conclusion that there are some really nice retroactive activities going on. I think of the early days of Napalm Death and especially the Scum era, there are also some even more nice details that reveal traces back to the brilliance of Terrorizer and their classic World Downfall album. Well, how does this particular album work then? Nineteen songs filled with hate and disgust for our world and its leaders and followers. Not to mention the extreme and sheer terror of the music that Watchmaker manages to create with song lengths up to one and a half minute each. The fact is that it works very well, I think. At least for some couple of songs. The adrenalin peaks and the music makes you wonder about a thing or two, but in order to sit and listen and honestly enjoy this for thirty minutes I guess you must be a real grind fanatic.

The production on Kill.Fucking.Everyone is as good as it gets in this genre. Noisy and distorted, and just the way it should be I guess. Good vocals from Brian Livoti, who must have a seriously soared and fucked up throat. Characteristic grind vocals with screams varied with really good growling, which gives the listener an authentic feeling of despair and panic. Songs to recommend must be speed traps like Catalepsy Of Fear, Maddening Assault, Civic Bloodlust and my absolute favourite The Widening Stain. Grind madness De Luxe. Good and really hard stuff to enjoy but for a short period.
