A troubadour doing acoustic country/folk covers of Dismember?
I guess most of you are curious about how it sounds. You download a
couple of tracks from the internet and well, then you know and don't
have to bother anymore. But who is actually supposed to buy this? Dismember
fans who also like country? Folk music fans who would like some more
morbid lyrics in their favourite music?
Although I cannot identify the buyer, parts of this becomes
great music if you are open minded. It is delicious to hear Naima sing
"I've tasted blood, now I want more" to a catchy acoustic
country piece. The songs are rearranged to the unrecognisable. What
can you say about the trumpet in In Death's Cold Embrace? A strange
feeling. Let The Napalm Rein is made with violins as an old Swedish
folk song. Crime Divine is made as a waltz. It is all fun and well done,
but with a very short lifetime.
