2009 has been a very strong year for metal - Dark Age
has not contributed to that. Although I have listened to "Acedia"
well over 30 times I still have trouble finding a reason as to why this
album has been put out on the market.
The music is so watered down that I almost suspect the
band to have consciously made an effort to make this album as slick
as they possibly could. This is never good. Of course the production
is very smooth. But this can't hide the fact that Dark Age's "Acedia"
is a totally unoriginal record. Please stay away from this.
