From the ashes of Vomitory rose Cut Up. Somehow, their
debut 'Forensic Nightmares' passed me by, but the follow-up 'Wherever
They May Rot' is too much of a rotten smelly carcass to ignore. Classic
filthy Swedish death metal with some technical American influences presented
in a straightforward up-tempo fashion. Fuelled by the hunger of a fresh
act, but with the song writing quality of seasoned veterans this is
one of the best death metal albums of 2017.
