While Kai Hansen is out on other missions with Unisonic, Helloween and his solo project Hansen & Friends, two other Gamma Rayers, Henjo Richter and Michael Ehré have decided to launch a project consisting of themselves, naturally, as well as 4 guys from Ehré's own band Love.Might.Kill and just by including vocalist Gianba Manenti they pretty much were on the right path to begin with because he truly knows how to do the job with excellence.

The Unity mainly comes out with songs in the melodic metal vein and I guess that a lot of people just by assumption would presume that the music would draw closer to power metal, but it doesn't really, and I think it's nice to see that the lads don't try to ride the wave musically on where their main duties are in Gamma Ray. This eponymous debut is a good one and if things continue to be a little bit uncertain in their main band, these guys nevertheless have a solid place to put their effort in now.
