When they get the groove going, especially as in From
The Flames and The New Dark Ages, it's really great and captivating,
but alas, there are too few of those moments and way too many parts
and passages which drag on and do not lead anywhere.
The debut album For The Fallen (2017) had a good sound
and a distinct punch but was nevertheless a little bit of a let down
for me considering the expectations I had and this album is unfortunately
even less good.
A big minus for the murky and thin production and the
fact that Karl Willetts' voice sounds unusually strained and dry.
