Paul Laine, Bruno Ravel and Rob Marcello, all with connections to Danger Danger have, along with session drummer Van Romaine, gotten together to form a project called The Defiants. The situation with bringing all kinds of different projects to life is highly familiar these days and especially when the Italian label Frontiers Music is involved in one way or another.

There is one significant difference between this outfit's making and most other kind of supergroup experiences though, whereas this effort is seriously a really good piece of music. The guys seem like a cohesive unit all the way and a lot of the songs are indeed awesome and this record is definitely worth checking out if you fancy melodic hard rock.
