Djevel's third offering Saa Raa Og Kald is a Norwegian black metal album - there's really not any more extensive wording needed to describe it. It won't challenge the foundations of black metal but sits tight and safe well within the borders of the genre - doing a solid job at that, I might add.

Granted, the song compositions could have been more dynamic but with the primitive sound, the chilling melodies and Erlend Hjelvik from Kvelerak handling the main vocal duties, it's hard not to enjoy Saa Raa Og Kald. The guitar sound is often a little more fuzzy than nekro, however, but I might let that one pass.
