Parkway Drive is frequently merging heavy riffs, harmonic
sequences, aggressive vocals and really good melodies into great songs.
Even though the band has developed its style to come closer to heavy
metal, this type of music usually doesn't place itself inside my personal
frames of what I believe is good music and worth listening to.
This effort is undoubtedly one of this kind of modern
genre's few exceptions though, which I of course think is a result of
it being far better and way more accurate than what most of their competitors'
work is.
