With its old school doom metal, involving elements of all from rock 'n' roll to heavy metal, Pentagram belongs to a classic era. The band never hit it big-time and Curious Volume isn't gonna change that state either, although it surely has its greater moments. The album regrettably comes out with a rather uneven quality, with a few really cool things, but also a bunch of tracks which in the end leave you quite unaffected.
