Unfortunatelly, Koroded has a lot of modern metal over their music; American radio rock, post-grunge and nu-metal that is. Funny enough they claim themselves to (with "unbelievable determination") have been able to resist every musical trend. Have you heard that one before…? Like a lot of other modern metal this is for sure musically competent, but at the same time boring as hell, unoriginal and lacks attitude. I can only regret that the last free zone of the true metal, Germany, now finally has been infected by the mighty distributor of manure in the west.

Misunderstand me right, I judge no one by their genre - boring music is boring music. Koroded mixes growl and some rap with clean rock vocals. The music is closer to melodic than to brutal. There are some moments - instrumentally, but the singer has a tendency to make you sleepy. Zero Minus Zero sounds a bit like Soilwork and Epigon has a few good passages. When it comes to the grade it would be unfair with a total diss, but the title tells you what will happen with this record after this review.
