Nuclear Fire is the third album from the German Metal Commandos in Primal Fear with frontmen Ralf Scheepers, (former Gamma Ray lead singer) and Mat Sinner (Sinner). And the name of this album speaks for itself: Nuclear Fire. 'Cause this release is best described as if a nuclear bomb was dropped on the metal market.

With this release the guys in Primal Fear have taken their power metal to another level and have completed a very successful mission here with their up to this point absolutely best album. Everything's improved on this one. Ralf does his best singing ever and as good as every track is an exploding feast: Killer guitars in intros and above all solos, a pounding bass guitar and double bass drums in a cavalcade of kick ass music performance!

The album tears off with the awesome Angel in Black and continues like a bolting train. It only stops for about four minutes with the metal ballad Bleed for Me and then it's right back on track. This slower part though, placed in the middle of the album, is just right 'cause you could use the rest :)
And I also just have to mention one track specifically: the title track, Nuclear Fire. It's one of the best metal songs ever made in my opinion and that one alone makes the album worth owning.

So if you're looking for outstanding high-quality German power metal, Primal Fear is just up your alley. And for you sad souls out there who haven't been burned to a crisp by the Nuclear Fire by now change this a s a p. And be on the lookout for their new release Black Sun because if Primal Fear's development continues as it has up to this point, we're looking at a total eclipse on April 29:th 2002!
