When Sethian has a singer from Finntroll and a drummer from Nightwish you kind of gets an idea in your head of what you could expect, at least that was what i thought before I started listening, damn was i fooled.
Sethian has more in common with fellow finnish countrymen in HIM, rather than the bands mentioned.

Into The Silence contains twelve tracks, tracks that are midtempo and ballads that doesn´t make me rise an eyebrow, even if all songs isn´t bad many of them feels like they´re on the borderline of pathetic with music that are really bad, and little does it help that mastermind Toumas Holopainen from Nightwish helps out with the keyboards as a guest on the album.

Several of the song is totally listenable but they feel a little bit to harmless and pale to really catch my interest but they make nevertheless perfect listeningmusic for lazy days when you´re almost sleeping in the sunshine.
The exception is Blood Calling and Call Of The Wild that has some of a Nightwish touch in them, actually two really good songs by comparison.

Vocalist Wilska does proof that he can sing with a clean voice, but I prefer to hear him growl in Finntroll instead.
