I like this. Raw, aggressive, old school thrash, with a little room for melody. The rhythm section grinds you into every brutal song of this debut. The smell of Motörhead is present most of the time, as it should be in good music. You can tell that these guys have been around before. The band is loaded with talent and routine. Singer Destormo perhaps tries too much to sound angry - instead of actually being it! The real thing is always the best…

Though I must say, the first five-six times of listening I hardly managed to separate the first four songs from each other if it wasn't for a couple of seconds of silence in between. I hope for a little bit more variation in the compositions on a future full-length album. But eventually the songs grow some more personality. Then we have the last track, Cold Sweat, Shaking Bones, which is my favorite. Especially the Kreator-groovy verse with heavy drums fits my taste. It's then you wish you'd have long hair…

The band's aim is to go back to the roots of heavy/thrash metal, but with their own personal attitude. At least the first wish is fulfilled. This is as far away from any commercial damage as one could wish. It comes from the heart and hits the heart. But I think they definitely have the potential to evolve their personal style even more in the future.

Serve loud with beer!
